User Tasks: Book a photoshoot

Explanation of Choices (In relation to how this achieves the business goals and the target audience)

  • Scheduling tool

    • When a user clicks through to schedule a photoshoot, they are directed to a page that features a calendar. Here, users can pick an available time slot to book a photoshoot with BOS. User design should be practical and usable (Babich 2020).

  • Visuals

    • The colors keep to the minimal black and white theme throughout the entire site. On this page in particular, the stark white and black brings attention to the images and creates visual cues for the user to follow. For example, the “Book now” button is clearly distinguishable against the background.

    • The images were chosen to evoke a romantic feeling while also providing examples of BOS’s work.
